SUMMARY:Installing Solaris 9 - 4500 using 2 ssa114's

The problem (seems to be fairly common) was  the gbics installed  on the 
i/o boards were 501-3060 which are 100MHZ socal's used for the A5x00 
series.   I needed the 501-2069 25MHZ version for the SSA's.

Thanks to all those that responded since I did get some good info from 
the community.
